You may not have known that John Storie not only tours with New West Guitar Group, but he is also a member of The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, Jeff Goldblum’s jazz band. The project has kept a mostly low profile by performing at small jazz clubs in Los Angeles and New York City, but with the release of a debut studio jazz album, jazz and Jeff fans can now enjoy the music of the iconic actor.

John Storie, Perry Smith, and Will Brahm make up New West Guitar Group, a trio that has developed a wide spread reputation as one of the premier guitar ensembles in the world. The group’s most recent project “Live at Mauch Chunk Opera House” was released in 2017. The trio recorded and filmed a concert in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania at their legendary opera house built in the 1800s. Each selection showcases the unique chemistry the three guitarists have developed over years of performing together.
