Big news! Our incredibly talented Syndee Winters just won 2nd place at the renowned Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition!

Syndee wowed judges Christian McBride, Lisa Fischer, Terri Lyne Carrington, Madeleine Peyroux, and Bill Charlap with her unique voice and captivating stage presence, proving once again that she’s a force to be reckoned with in the world of jazz.

While Syndee isn’t a fan of the word “competition,” she embraced the opportunity to share the stage with other talented artists, including grand prize winner April May Webb. She was inspired by the unique vibe and experience each artist brought to the competition.

This achievement is a testament to Syndee’s dedication and artistry. We’re incredibly proud of her success and can’t wait to see what she does next!

Congratulations to all the participants, and a special shout out to April May Webb, Georgia Heers, and everyone who made this event possible.

And let’s not forget a round of applause for Caribbean-American Designer Marrisa Wilson for Syndee’s stunning wardrobe!
