The Beat Goes On - Celebrating David Amram and Jack Kerouac

“THE BEAT Goes On” celebrating Jack Kerouac and David Amram on the 50th Anniversary of “On The Road” and “Pull My Daisy” An evening to celebrate the music, the poetry, spoken word and all things Jack Kerouac and David Amram.

Fate brought them together, history paved the road to collaboration, and destiny has yielded some of the greatest literature and music to come from their work together and what each of them took from and gave to the remainder of their story - and David Amram continues
to carry on the legacy of The Beat Generation.

Amram dispels the notions that this generation carried with it, highlighting the truth of creativity that surrounded turbulent times and artistic growth. This project is sanctioned by The Kerouac Estate.
